Many men lack the skills or have simply not been involved with cooking in the past but would like to learn or they may be on their own and would like to expand their repertoire.
A program was created by the Mountain Men Organisation and in partnership with the Upwey Men's Shed, Belgrave Men's Shed, Foothills Community Care and the Upwey Baptist Community Church commenced a pilot program (see details on flyer) at the Upwey Baptist Community Church Kitchen.
The program was well received, attended and commended by many.
Many thanks the the Yarra Ranges Shire Council for seeing the value in such a project and funding this program.
